Home Description

Description of the home

2009 ground floor apartment. Double glazed (keeps the place quieter and warmer)
Very secure in excellent condition. New wooden flooring has been laid throughout.
Brand new renovated succulent garden oasis outside complete with small fire pit, washing lines, solar water feature and Ishka ornaments!

It’s a pretty sleek and stylish 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of vibrant Carnegie. A sanctuary under the sky rail. Bathed in an abundance of natural sunlight in the mornings, it is brilliantly located just a leisurely stroll to bustling Koornang Road shops, cafes, and trains along with parks, buses, schools and recreation. With the peace of mind of secure intercom entry, the ground floor apartment opens to a living/dining area plus smartly-appointed open plan kitchen.

The bedroom is generous in size and boasts built-in robes, whilst completing an utterly appealing offering are central bathroom with WC, Euro laundry with Miele washer and dryer, split system heating and cooling, and parking spaces around the surrounding roads.

Aside from that...
All the amenities you could hope for, new Miele washer + dryer. New fridge. A dishwasher, nespresso machine and zazen water filter. A tea cupboard with tea sets etc

5 minutes walk from Carnegie Station, 4 minutes walk to Woolworths.

Chadstone shops are around the corner. Beach and universities are all accessible! South Yarra is a few stops away for your latte lifestyle and chapel street is one change to Windsor station for your night life.

Well serviced by public transport, whisking you into the city quickly and efficiently.

Here’s a write up that I’ve borrowed 😉

‘Carnegie is a great place to live! Start your morning with a coffee and Bagel at Huff Bagelry then go for a mid morning swim at Carnegie pool or GESAC or take a walk around the lovely streets. Then for dinner you can enjoy one of the many great (mainly Asian) restaurants. Good International Dining Options featuring Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Indian, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Italian & Korean.

The area is going through quite a transformation with developments popping up everywhere. Relatively new trendy cafes like Left Field and Temperance Society indicate that the area has arrived as a place to be.’

PETS
I’ve said no pets but willing to negotiate on small house-trained dogs.

About occupants
Your housemate will be me. I’m a young 35 year old originally from London.

I work as a special needs teacher and have additional qualifications in graphic design and illustration. I used to be an exhibiting artist.

I’m pretty friendly and have an excellent sense of humour. The kettle is always on as I’m an avid tea drinker!

I’m becoming switched on to using more organic cleaners, food etc and having a healthier lifestyle. I’m still partial to the odd pyjama evening with chips uber eats and Netflix! Ha!

I’m very chatty but like quiet time too. Like my home to be a chill out space with friendly people.

I have nothing against drinking etc but I don’t really drink much and I don’t smoke.

I attend aerial yoga classes and meditation classes. I’m studying a masters in Art Therapy
Compatible people
I’m hoping for a flat mate who’s social and friendly but also relishes being quiet at times.

Someone respectful and self sufficient who tidies up after themselves. Preferably a non-smoker.

Bonus points if you have a lot of stories to tell and enjoy a good laugh.
