Home Description

Description of the home

Sweet, old home in Coburg North just a few minutes walk from Merlynston Station. Aldi is 3 mins ago, Coles, Officeworks, Bunnings 5 mins away. Within walking distance to great cafes and nice parks. The home is old and has a lot of character - she's past her prime, but I love living here. Excited to welcome some wonderful housemates to join me in creating a lovely home environment.

About occupants
You’ll be living with me and my two very sweet cats, who are a big part of the home’s energy. I work in events and as a somatic practitioner, and I value a household that feels grounded, emotionally aware and respectful. I work during the week and spend my weekends socialising, spending time in the garden and cuddling my cats. I absolutely adore my friends and enjoy live music, ecstatic dance nights, festivals/doofs and queer events. I enjoy a mix of quiet, cozy evenings and meaningful conversation, and I really care about creating a home that feels safe, warm, and welcoming. While I enjoy conversation, I value my own space and need my alone time, especially during the week. Ideally I'm looking for someone who feels the same way about sharehousing.
Compatible people
I’m ideally looking for someone in the 28–40 age range who’s in a similar life stage and values a calm, conscious, clean and respectful shared home.

This is a LGBTQIA+, SW, and neurodivergent-friendly home. Shared values around consent, communication, and mutual respect are really important to me.

I’m vegan, and this is a mostly plant-based household, so this space wouldn’t be suitable for someone who prefers to eat meat at every meal. Shared kitchen, shared care for the space and each other’s values.

At this stage I'm not looking to add any more furniture to the communal spaces in the home. No more pets, sorry.
Description of pets
Siloh - fluffy ginger boy, 4 years old. Timid at first, a purring lapcat once he knows you.

Tansy - short haired tabby girl, 9 months old. Very friendly and approachable! Also a big fan of cuddles and nose boops!
