----------------------------------🌿 The Home 🌿-----------------------------------------
Hey! 😊 I’m looking for a new housemate to join our peaceful little home in Eltham. I’m hoping to find someone who wants more than simply sharing rent and occasionally passing each other in the hallway. I’d love to live with someone who values authenticity, gentle communication, connection and making a house genuinely feel like home.
A cozy, creative sanctuary surrounded by nature, just a short walk or drive from the river, train station and shops. It’s a peaceful space to unwind, create and connect, with lots of native birds, garden space and fresh air. The available room is large, with several windows and plenty of room for a queen bed, furniture and decorations to make the space your own.
Move in between mid to late November.
______
• Rent: $1088 pcm | Bond: $875
• Bills split | Minimal utility usage
• Studio space, open fireplace, front & back decks, ample garden
• River: 5m walk, train/shops: 5m drive / 15m walk
• Room: Large, space for queen bed and furniture, with a few windows for light
-----------🏡 Shared Indoor Spaces 🏡-----------
The kitchen and living area has a beautiful open fireplace, chaise lounge and comfy daybed, making it a lovely place to read, relax, chat or spend a quiet evening together.
There’s also a separate studio space that can be used for yoga, meditation, drawing, music or other creative outlets. I’d love to gradually turn it into a cozy shared lounge with couches, a projector, rugs and throws for movie nights, relaxing and creative sessions. I’m very open to co creating the space together rather than having everything already decided for you.
The overall vibe is intentionally simple, relaxed and low maintenance. I care much more about mutual consideration, communication and everyone contributing than creating a home with rigid expectations around how everything has to look.
-----------✨ Studio & Common Areas ✨-----------
There’s also a separate studio space available, which we’re thinking of transforming into a cozy lounge with couches, projector, lush rugs and throws - perfect for movie nights, meditation, or creative sessions. Happy to co-create that space with you!
If this sounds like your kind of lifestyle, I’d love to chat more and see if it feels like a good fit for everyone 🌿

I’m a 33 year old neurodivergent Support Worker and Coach on my own personal growth journey. I’m passionate about creating a home where authenticity comes naturally and we can be our quirky, thoughtful, playful selves without feeling judged.
I value gentle communication, emotional awareness, consideration and respecting each other’s boundaries. I love soulful conversations, laughter, heartfelt hugs where mutually comfortable, movies, meditation and having a home where people can express themselves freely and safely.
I also live with Mark, who is incredibly peaceful and easygoing and works as a Social Worker during the day. You’ll be able to meet both of us when you come for an inspection. 😊
I’m looking for a kind, supportive and self aware housemate who values emotional intelligence, open communication and a peaceful home. Someone neurodivergent, highly sensitive or interested in personal growth would probably feel particularly at home here.
Importantly, I’m looking for someone who genuinely wants to connect with the people they live with. We absolutely don’t need to constantly hang out, and everyone needs their own space and independence. But I’m probably not the right housemate for someone who wants to be continuously travelling, always out, or mostly live a completely separate life from their housemates.
I’d love someone who actually makes some time and space for connection at home, whether that’s sitting down for a good chat, occasionally sharing a meal, watching a movie, relaxing by the fire or simply checking in with each other. Nothing forced or scheduled, just a mutual desire to invest a little energy into knowing the people we share our home with.
• Ideally late 20s to mid 40s, emotionally aware, communicative and considerate
• Easygoing and comfortable with a simple, affordable, low maintenance household
• Values connection and friendship while equally respecting privacy, boundaries and quiet time, particularly before 11am and after 10pm

I’d love to hear from you! Rather than sending just “Is this available?”, please introduce yourself and tell me:
• A little about you, your lifestyle, work/study and what you’re like to live with
• What resonated with you about the home, the ad or what I’ve shared about myself
• What you’re looking for in your next home and the kind of relationship you enjoy having with housemates
Looking forward to hearing from some lovely humans and seeing who feels naturally aligned with our little home 🌿☺️
