Home Description

Description of the home

Great little gem just a stone throw away from restaurants, bars, chemist warehouse, bottle shops, gyms (church st) just a block away from Brighton road where there's a tram station to the city (literally 2 min away walking distance from the unit) and 10 min walking distance to Ripponlea train station or Balaclava train station. Located just 2 blocks away from St Kilda Botanical gardens, this place is a great combination between easy access to transport, great quality gardens (outdoor cinema, etc) and just 15 min away walking distance to Point Ormond Look out in Elwood, and most impportantly; The Beach!. Just 10 min walking distance to Acland street where you can find Whoolies and Coles, bunch of bars, pubs, restaurants, Luna park, etc. The place has a nice sized kitchen, separate lounge room where you'd be able to chill with my cats, (2 rescue tabbies), separate bathroom and toilet (shared with me) and the two rooms of the place are in two opposite sites of the place. There's also a little balcony with enough room to sit out and enjoy the landscape and natural scenary Elwood offers, and is conveniently located on the first floor of a secure entry building. Although there is no secure parking, there's always space to park around the unit

About occupants
I'm Pablo, 39 years old, Remedial massage therapist, psychology student, support worker and volunteer for a Men's mental health awareness organisation in Australia. I work Tuesday to Saturday in Richmond and spend most mornings either working out, meal prepping, out at the beach, shopping or just hanging out with the cats. I try and get away to the outdoors on my days off, otherwise will be a bit social with mates. Not a party animal, smoker or anything like that so if you are looking for a party house (or anything chem related) this might not be the best place for you. More than happy to share a meal, a drink and always up for a chat. like to go to bed early and keep the cooking, social activities and visitors out of the common areas early on work days. I try and keep the place nice and clean, and although not extremely anal about keeping the place spotless, try and keep common areas and common cleaning tasks shared with the flatmate. I am a cat lover and if you are not this might not be a good fit for you.
Compatible people
Someone good at communicating! please be clean, easy going, respectful of common spaces, common sense, and who has experienced sharing houses or apartments in the past! Also, you need to love cats as I have two. Room rental is temporary but negotiable
Description of pets
Two beautiful cats! One of them very playful and social, the other one likes to keep her privacy unless she approaches you.
