I have a dog, kelpie x staffy (nearly 6 years of age). He will not come into your room unless invited. You room will also have roller shutters, as the 3 bedrooms all have, reduces heat, and sounds, great addition for any bedroom !
My dog is good with other dogs as long as they are not reactive on first meeting. My dog is shared between myself and ex partner, when he is at home, he sleeps inside and has access to outside during the days.

Teddy is a 5 year old kelp x staff. He is quite chill after a play or a walk. He is very smart and well trained would be open to someone with a doggo, (have to meet and greet dog first to ensure they will get along). Teddy has always lived with me and other dogs.
