Hi folks, I’m looking for a housemate in Footscray. It's for one unfurnished room in an otherwise fully furnished 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. The room is available immediately (pending application to the real estate/approval by the landlord) and the lease is for another 15 months.

🚗 Location: right next to a small shopping strip with a small supermarket, pizza places, restaurants, a bakery, and Footscray Hospital. The 227 and 410 bus stops right outside the door, and 82 tram around the corner, and 215 bus a few minutes walk away. Just a short trip to Footscray station, Highpoint Shopping Centre, Footscray Market, and the many great restaurants and bars that the area has to offer.

🏠 The apartment: accessible via elevators and has 1 available car park spot in the building's gated undercover parking garage. an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with lots of natural light, a split system air conditioner/heater, a 3 seater couch, coffee table, TV, small dining table seating 2 (or 4 when stools are added), a collection of board games, large cat tree and brightly coloured decorations. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric fan-forced oven and gas cooktop, fridge, microwave, and small appliances. Bathroom with a large shower and European laundry with a washing machine and dryer. A large north-west facing balcony with sweeping views of the western suburbs that is especially pretty at sunset, has a table, fold-up chairs seating up to 4, and room for storing a bike, gardening or other outdoor activities (am considering getting a BBQ). Smoking/vaping is okay outdoors.
