Home Description

Description of the home

Location
10-minute walk to Huntingdale Station (Pakenham/Cranbourne lines) — frequent trains to the CBD roughly every 10–15 minutes, around 35 minutes to Flinders St.

On the way to the station you'll pass the Huntingdale local strip: chemist, IGA, cafés, and a great range of food options (Greek, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian, kebab, pizza, and more).

5–7 minutes' drive to Oakleigh's Eaton Mall dining precinct and main shops, and about 10 minutes to Chadstone for majors and groceries. Quick freeway access via the Monash (M1).

Quiet, central pocket with friendly neighbours, parks and ovals — great for evening walks.

The Home
4 bedrooms (2 large, 2 medium/small), 1 bathroom shared comfortably between three. The large bedroom at the back of the house is what's on offer.

Spacious kitchen and lounge, plus generous front and back yards with a flourishing garden. Carport and shed mean loads of storage.

The house has artwork and a few "stuffies" around — feel free to add your own touches. (See pics!)
Not a party house, but the occasional birthday, dinner/movie night, or D&D game definitely happens.

About occupants
Paul – Gardener · Introvert, kind, supportive, neurodivergent, funny.
Runs a small gardening business (perk: always-tidy gardens!). You'll often find him out at jobs or the pool, or at home chilling and working. Happy to cook and share if you're around and hungry. Unwinds with games and shows.

Nat – Support worker · Introvert, polite, ADHD/autistic, playful.
Works weekdays, loves a weekend park walk, and relaxes with puzzles, painting, or a good show or game. Travels with a duck companion named Petunia — a toy duck, not an actual one (important clarification)!

We're housemates, not a couple. We've both lived here 10+ years — no drama, easy routines. We keep things clean and pitch in when needed without a chore roster. We mostly do our own thing but always enjoy a chat when paths cross in the common areas
Compatible people
Calm, considerate, and low-key. 420-friendly and LGBTQ+-friendly. We steer clear of politics and big drama; home is for recharging.
Looking for someone who values a clean, peaceful space, communicates respectfully, and treats the place like home. Not a revolving-door social house, but we’re friendly and welcoming.

Not a party house; occasional gatherings are fine.

Temporary stays (6–12 months) are possible, though long-term is ideal—we expect to be here a good while.

Your room is your space—just don’t burn the house down.
Description of pets
No pets in the home. Neighbourhood cats often visit the backyard—two are quite social and may keep you company outside.
