Home Description

Description of the home

Location;
10-minute walk to Huntingdale Station on the Pakenham/Cranbourne lines; frequent trains to the CBD (~35 minutes to Flinders St), about every 10–15 minutes most of the day.

On the way to the station you pass the local Huntingdale strip: chemist, IGA, cafés, and plenty of food options (Greek, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian, kebab, pizza, and more).

5–7 minutes’ drive to Oakleigh’s Eaton Mall dining precinct and main shops; ~10 minutes to Chadstone for majors and groceries.

Quick access to the Monash Freeway (M1). Quiet, central pocket with friendly neighbours, parks and ovals—great for evening walks.

The Home:
4 bedrooms (2 large, 2 medium/small), 1 bathroom shared comfortably by three. (The large bedroom at the back of the house is whats on offer)

Spacious kitchen and lounge, plus big front and back yards with a flourishing garden.

Carport and shed = loads of storage.

House has artwork and a few “stuffies” around—add your own touches if you like. (refer to pics)

Not a party house; occasional birthdays, dinner/movie nights, or a D&D game.

About occupants
Paul – Gardener. Introvert, kind, supportive, neurodivergent, funny.
Runs a small gardening business (perk: tidy gardens!). Often out at jobs, at the pool, or chilling/working at home. Cooks sometimes—happy to share if you’re around and hungry. Games/shows to unwind.

Nat – Support worker. Introvert, polite, ADHD/autistic, playful.
Works weekdays, loves weekend park walks, and relaxes with puzzles/painting or shows/games. Travels with a duck companion named Petunia (a toy, not an actual duck!).

We’re housemates, not a couple. We’ve both lived here 10+ years—no drama, easy routines. We keep things clean and pitch in when needed (no chore roster). We mostly hang in our rooms but enjoy a chat in the common areas.
Compatible people
Calm, considerate, and low-key. 420-friendly and LGBTQ+-friendly. We steer clear of politics and big drama; home is for recharging.
Looking for someone who values a clean, peaceful space, communicates respectfully, and treats the place like home. Not a revolving-door social house, but we’re friendly and welcoming.

Not a party house; occasional gatherings are fine.

Temporary stays (6–12 months) are possible, though long-term is ideal—we expect to be here a good while.

Your room is your space—just don’t burn the house down.
Description of pets
No pets in the home. Neighbourhood cats often visit the backyard—two are quite social and may keep you company outside.
