Hi! I’m Sarah, a 41yo woman working in the music industry and looking for someone to join me at my lovely little townhouse in Maidstone with my two dogs.
$1200 per month which includes bills + cleaner
The location:
- Maidstone, near West Footscray
- opposite a park and oval, nice for walks
- Closest train station is Tottenham (25 min walk)
- 10 minutes drive to Highpoint
- 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk to Footscray Hospital
- 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk to Victoria Uni
- 3 minute drive (or 10 minute walk) to local shops with Asian Grocer, Aldi, Coles and fruit shop.
- Beautiful vegan cafe around the corner (that also does dairy milk coffee)
- *Probably better for someone with a car. Street parking is always available.
The house:
- 2 bedroom townhouse (part of a group of 5)
- 1 bathroom upstairs (with a beautiful bath!) and a 2nd toilet downstairs
- little backyard and garden (I am currently planting a veggie and herb garden)
- central gas heating that is really warm and cosy in winter
- air con both downstairs and in each bedroom

- I run my own small business in the music industry and love my job. I travel a fair bit for work.
- I go out a few nights a week, but also like my home to be my refuge/safe space - a place to cook, have a bath, read, watch movies etc.
- I have friends over for dinner occasionally but nothing too wild. I love to cook! Sometimes successfully.
- I like hanging with my dogs, cooking new things, playing piano, listening to music.
- If we have different schedules that’s ok
- Would prefer home to be your refuge as well - you’d be welcome to have friends over but again - nothing too wild.
- Able to clean up after yourself but also - I'm getting a cleaner.
- Currently full-time but will be staying with their Dad 50% of the time in the future
- A cheeky little sausage dog called Ronald who takes a bit of warming up but is easy to fall in love with in time
- Beautiful straight-coat cavoodle Reggie who is just an absolute joy and loves to play fetch
- They are only allowed downstairs and have a dog door to outside
- You will not be expected to have any responsibilities with the dogs
