Description of the home

A spacious, fully furnished flat with a room that includes a built-in wardrobe. The room is empty and ready for you to make it your own! We are conveniently located close to public transport and the groovy Brunswick/Moonee Ponds area (2km either way!). There is parking onsite and we are at the entrance for Moonee Ponds bike trail.

We have a TV, WiFi, and overall good vibes. We don't have the space or amenities for pets, but it is a plant-filled abode!

About us:
My name is Rose, I’m a primary school music teacher and guitarist, so you’ll often hear me playing acoustic guitar at home (nothing loud or disruptive!). My partner Raul is from Colombia and enjoys watching telenovelas. We both work full-time, are often out and about on weekends, and are easygoing and communicative. We value a relaxed, respectful home where everyone has their own space and privacy.

Who we’re looking for:
We’re hoping to share the flat with one other person (three people in total). Our previous housemate lived with us for a year and it worked really well—we’re keen to find someone similarly considerate, tidy, and friendly. Ideally, you’re someone who enjoys a calm home environment, is reliable with bills/rent, and is happy to have a chat now and then while also respecting personal space.

Rent/Bills:

Rent: $1200 monthly

Gas and Hot water: $90 every two months (bi-monthly bills; approx. depending on usage)

Wifi: $20 monthly

We are open to having a cleaner come in once or twice a month to help clean the place, if that sounds like a good idea to you. Otherwise, we would like you to be someone who is happy to share cleaning duties.
