Home Description
Description of the home
Our Preston home is simple, clean and welcoming, with a huge garden, great location and friendly housemates. Sweet and cosy, it features ample natural light, split system heating/cooling, indoor plants and leafy views, bath, bike shed, large backyard and veggie garden plus outdoor table and chairs, and off-street parking.
We’re in a fantastic location within walking distance to High St shops & cafes, Preston Market, Merri Creek and Bell Station/ #11 tram.
We’re mature-aged women who’ve created a calm, low-key, low-tox sanctuary where health, wellbeing, and the environment matter. Think quiet mornings with tea in the garden, some shared meals around the table, and good chats in the kitchen when capacity and timing aligns —balanced with plenty of space to retreat into your own world. We value connection, kindness and respect, and we aspire to live in a wholesome, generative and community-minded way.
Because of a chemical sensitivity, we ask for no strong synthetic fragrances (OMO laundry powder, perfumes etc). Natural products like Sukin and gentle essential oils are fine, and we’re happy to chat more if you’re unsure.

• Sarah: craniosacral practitioner, educator and gardener who loves cooking, gardening, nature, social justice, spirituality and nourishing conversations.
• Mary: quirky, playful, creative; into reading, meditating, dancing, and works as a trainer and coach.
Day to day, we cook, garden, read, share food when it aligns, talk about life, and also enjoy our own quiet time and independent rhythms.
We usually have quiet evenings to wind down and go to bed around 9.30-10.30pm, so looking for someone with a similar rhythm.
