Home Description

Description of the home

Hello! We're looking for a third person for our beautiful, light filled home in Princes Hill.

The room has ample storage with built-in wardrobes, shelves and cupboards. It also has a loft (accessible by ladder), which gives an extra 4m of floor space and would be perfect for a mattress. The room stays nice, quiet and cool and is East-facing with the window looking onto the courtyard.

The house has many lush jungles with a backyard, courtyard (which gets green real quick) + many house plants. The kitchen is large and there’s a cute, bright attic space (which you can clamber up onto the roof from). Currently we haven’t done much with this space but it would be perfect as a reading/hang nook or youre welcome to deck it out and use it as an extra work space too.

We’re super close to the 19 and Lygon St trams and lots of bike paths, right next to Princes Park and close to Brunswick - so there’s an abundance of great cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. There’s also many options for on street parking. We're lucky enough to have an amazing landlord too.

We're hoping someone can move in long-term, but open to other arrangements. We're not considering couples, sorry!

About the occupants
You'll be joining me and Nadia - both in our 30s - and a cat called Moz.
We're a pretty chill lil household. We’ve both been working from home a fair bit, love cooking, sharing a meal, and drink a lot of tea (and sometimes wine). We’re happy to do our own thing and also come together when we feel. We tend to organise our own food (seperate shelves etc.) with some shared essentials. We enjoy having people over, but we're more likely to be watching netflix than throwing a big party. Moz is a super friendly guy but won’t get on with another pet.
Compatible people
We’re looking who enjoys making their home a lovely place to be, is generally considerate, respectful and open to communicate. We care about each other, are considerate and accountable and in a shared space we reckon it’s ideal for everyone to feel comfortable and at home, so we’d love to find someone who’s happy to be part of that dynamic.
Description of pets
Moz is a king among cats. Even people who don't like cats like Moz.
