Home Description

Description of the home

Looking for preferably a single (but would consider the right couple!) to join me in my Richmond apartment.

The room is available from the 6 June but from August I will be working in the country 3-4 days per week so you will pretty much have the place to yourself on weekdays!

The apartment is in a great location, in between two tram lines and a 5 minute walk to Burnley train station. Close to all the attractions of both Swan St and Bridge Rd, with easy access to the Monash freeway (M1) and the biking and walking paths along the Yarra River.

The rent includes use of my furniture/appliances/kitchen utensils/linen etc if you need. The bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished.

Bills will be split evenly (electricity, water, internet).

About occupants
Hi! I'm Lucy - I work as a doctor. I am currently working in a GP clinic 4 days per week. I also occasionally work night shift at a hospital - generally this will be on weekends or on a Monday night. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy cooking (or at least reading recipe books!), watching my latest UK murder mystery/police dramas, gardening and checking out new restaurants and bars/pubs!
Compatible people
I would like to live with someone who similarly views their home as a place for rest and relaxation - someone who is kind, considerate, respectful and is a good communicator. I like to look after the house and the things in it and hope you will do the same!

As above, I occasionally do shift work so at times I am sleeping during the day - but I tend to sleep pretty well and my room is located away from the kitchen/living area.

It is important that the person is used to living in a shared space and is willing to share in the routine household tasks (bins, dishwasher etc) - someone who enjoys their independence but is also happy to share the occasional meal or friendly chat/debrief (I generally have a few juicy medical anecdotes up my sleeve!).

Ideally you will have regular employment and enjoy getting out of the house. It would also be great to have someone who was somewhat house plant literate and could occasionally water my pot plants (I can give thorough instructions however)!
