It's in a new apartment complex, only finished being built in 2022. The apartment is in a fantastic location in South Melbourne, right off St Kilda road. There's a 58 tram stop right outside the door, and it's only a couple minutes walk from the Anzac tram station. There's an IGA and Woolworths right outside for all the foods, and some nice little restaurants less than a block away. All the typical modern amenities you'd expect to see, so we have a fully equipped gym, pool, sauna, secured parking (Included in rent), 7 days a week concierge and mail room. The apartment itself is furnished with my own furniture, except the bedroom, however I'm happy to purchase a bed set and desk for the room if need be for anyone that moves in. There's also a small storage cage available for excess furniture if you end up bringing some with you.

You'll be sharing with just me. Quick run down, I'm 41, and work in hotels, with a focus on front office management. I moved down here from Brisbane in 2023 with a mate, who's since moved out with his partner, hence the search for someone else. I'm pretty nerdy (The living room photo might be a bit of a give away), with my main passion being in gaming. I'm also into arts and film, so I like gallery visits and expos, film festivals, etc. My other biggest passion is in travel, and have travelled quite a bit both here and abroad, including a bit of time living in Japan back in 2010. I'm usually pretty quiet and keep to myself at home, but I'm happy to hit up some low key drinks and dinner or chill at home for a bad movie night or game sesh on my days off.
Compatible people
As far as potential housemates? I used to sublet my old apartment back in Brisbane so I have experience living with a range of people. I'm good with any gender, any age, etc, however I would prefer someone who lives in Australia permanently, and works full time as I'm looking for someone long term.

I'm pretty easy going in general, so outside of the usual respecting each others private space, not being too loud, keeping things tidy, and making sure rent's in on time, I'm an anything goes kind of guy.
Description of pets
My mate and I used to have a kitty that's left with him, I am planning to adopt one later in the year, so if you're allergic to cats let me know and I'll put those plans on ice.
