Description of the home
I’m moving back to the UK soon so looking for someone to replace me in my gorge Thornbury house share!
It’s a 3-bed 1960s brick house - loads of natural light, centrally heated, with a back garden and outdoor storage 🏡
There’s a cute retro kitchen, huge living room, shared bathroom (with separate toilet), and free street parking.
It’s a very peaceful, relaxed home environment and amazing location - 5 minute walk from Penders Park, Thornbury Picture House, Luthers ice cream and all the shops and cafes of High Street.
Excellent public transport links, too: short walks to 86/11 trams and Thornbury train station (Mernda line).

Bills and expenses
You’ll be signing onto the lease which renews in November.
All bills are shared evenly and come to about $50-70 a month.
We each manage our own food, but contribute to shared essentials like cleaning products, Who Gives a Crap toilet paper and a gardener every 6 weeks or so.
Also, a third housemate!
Our other housemate, Gemma, will also be leaving soon for a job opportunity in NSW, so there’s a second, larger double room becoming available end of June!
We like to keep things clean and tidy so have a low key weekly cleaning roster that seems to work well.
Occupants Description

Rach is a kind, thoughtful and generous housemate - she loves bushwalking, cooking, yoga and beach days, films and documentaries, going to the weekly farmers market and grabbing a bowl of ramen with friends.
She works from a private / shared studio in Northcote, and is pretty busy with work and social plans through the week, but loves a chat and a meal with housemates when she’s home. Has a large collection of indoor plants! and enjoys making a lovely and relaxed home environment.
Sharehouse experience / sharing responsibilities a big plus ☺
We’re looking for someone kind, considerate, clean and easygoing, ideally 28+ , working and / or studying so everyone’s on similar hours (it’s not much of a party house!) 😊
We’d love to find someone who’s looking for a home rather than a transient share house.
No smokers, couples or pets unfortunately sorry :(
If this all sounds good to you, shoot me a message with a bit about yourself (hobbies, what you do, what you’re looking for in a house share etc). 🫶
