Home Description
Description of the home
Great size bedroom available 7 June in a stunning, spacious, fully furnished and renovated double fronted Victorian home in Windsor (Armadale end). Only two house-mates, David the main tenant and Rachel a student.
The house has an renovated Victorian front with three bedrooms and a large modern extension - two separate living areas / open plan kitchen / lounge leading out to the cosy backyard and large double garage with storage space.
The furniture in the images is current and will stay.
We are located near the corner of William and High Street in Windsor - a one minute walk to the tram and a ten min walk to Prahran Station and Chapel Street.
The location is prime and surrounded by great shops, restaurants, pubs, bars, Chapel Street, Hawksburn Village and all are just a short stroll away. StKilda beach is a short drive or tram ride. We are close to the action, but also far away enough and the area is very peaceful.
A few other things about the house;
- New modern bathroom which includes separate shower & large bath.
- Living areas a fully furnished - happy to accommodate some items - but would prefer no additional furniture.
- Reverse cycle Air Conditioning in main living area / heating in all areas.
- A great little backyard and rustic garden for morning coffees with beautiful morning light.
- NBN, 65" 4K TV, Apple TV, Bose surround sound, Espresso Machine, Airfryer and everything else for the house is already here!
- New fridge, washing machine.
- Gardens are maintained by David.
We are not a party house, are health conscious and like to go for walks and gym but we do love a few friends over for dinner, movie or a drink / night cap every so often.
Would prefer for the new housemate to only have furniture for their room.

David has his own bathroom ensuite so will not be using the main (your) bathroom at all. We love to have a chat and to share a meal or drink when time allows (or a Netflix series), are house proud, keep the house clean and tidy and are respectful of other's space. For the most part each of us mostly does our own thing. It's a pretty quiet household for the most part...
I (David) work full-time for an whisky distillery - work from home but am on the road frequently throughout the weekdays - i also run a small skincare side-hustle business.
Rachel is studying and working in admin during the week.
The communal area in the house gets beautiful morning sun and is very bright and homely, we love to utilise our backyard in the summer, enjoy cooking on the bbq, a pizza leading into the weekend, watching a good movie/series and like to head out on a road trip or to the beach or snow... I like to go to gym down the road during the week.
There is also a separate library room which can be utilised by all housemates.
If you have any questions, please reach out!
Overall it's a very relaxed environment here and a home to be proud of... pictures don't do it justice and happy to put you in touch with previous housemates for a reference. Look forward to meeting some of you!
