Large Room in Beautiful Victorian Home – Available Sept 7 (Windsor / Armadale end)
Looking for a new place to call home? We have a spacious room (can be furnished if you like) available from Sept 7 in our stunning, fully renovated double-fronted Victorian house in Windsor.
You’ll be sharing with just two friendly housemates (one guy, one girl) and a sweet little Cavalier Spaniel who loves company.
About the house:
The original Victorian front has three bedrooms, high ceilings, and period charm, while the modern extension features an open-plan kitchen and lounge flowing out to a sunny backyard and a large double garage with plenty of storage. The furniture in the photos is current and staying, so you can move straight in.
Location:
We’re right near the corner of William and High Street — just a 1-minute walk to the tram and a 10-minute stroll to Prahran Station and Chapel Street. You’ll be surrounded by amazing cafes, shops, pubs, restaurants, Hawksburn Village, and even St Kilda Beach is only a short tram or drive away. It’s close to all the action, but still peaceful.

On-street with a permit provided if you need it.

A little about us:
We’re not a party house — more the relaxed, social type. We’re health-conscious, enjoy walks and the gym, but also love a good dinner, movie night, or drink with friends now and then.
Rent: $1450 per month + bills (gas, electricity, water – internet is free)
Bond: One month’s rent
Pets: Sorry, we can’t take in any more animals.

One of us has the ensuite, so you’ll have the main bathroom to yourself most of the time — only shared occasionally with guests. We enjoy a chat, sharing a meal or drink when time allows, or watching a Netflix series together — but we’re also respectful of each other’s space and keep the house clean and tidy. Most of the time, everyone just does their own thing, and it’s a pretty quiet household overall.
The communal area in the house gets beautiful morning sun and feels bright and homely. We love making use of the backyard in summer, cooking on the BBQ, having pizza nights on the weekend, watching a good movie or series, and heading out for a road trip or to the beach or snow. During the week, we’re usually busy with work, study, and hobbies, but always up for a relaxed catch-up.
