The room for rent is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, desk and bedside table, with a built in wardrobe. However, we are able to remove this furniture if you wish to bring your own.

Our location is the best of both worlds: Our house is located close to Beaufort Street, so, we are just one block away from access to shopping, dining, and public transport into the city. However, as we are separated from Beaufort St by a no through road, our street is quiet with minimal traffic. Lots of parking available on the street.

Our house has a calm and cosy vibe. We have a spacious kitchen, dining and living area and all communal house areas are furnished. We have two fridges, a washing machine and a dryer. We had ducted air conditioner installed throughout the house in late 2023, with individual controls for each room.

You will share the main bathroom with just one housemate, as the other two share an ensuite. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower.

About the occupants
We are 3 housemates late twenties and early thirties (1 woman, 2 men). We have a laid-back and respectful household environment and are looking for a long-term housemate to join us. We have been at this properly for about two years. Ideally, we would like a female housemate but are open to applications from all genders.

We are non-smokers and rarely drink (e.g. a glass of wine with dinner every now and then). We are all in full-time work or study. We enjoy the gym, gardening, reading, and cooking.

We are seeking someone who is clean, responsible, and friendly, and it would be a bonus if you are a dog person!

We are always happy to have a good chat in common areas but are also respectful of each other’s space and boundaries. We aim to maintain a peaceful environment for all housemates and are looking for someone who aligns with that - we have people over rarely and give each other notice of family/friends popping around, are respectful of minimising noise, we all contribute to keeping the house clean, and openly communicate with eachother if anything comes up.
Description of pets
We have two small adult dogs (see photo), one who would love a pat or a cuddle anytime you desire, while the other is a bit more standoffish but could possibly be won over with time and treats.
