Hey! I’m Kim 👋

I’m a FIFO worker on an 8/6 roster (Thursday to Thursday). My job is pretty intense when I’m on site, so when I’m home, I absolutely love nothing more than relaxing, enjoying my downtime and hanging out with my dogs.

I’m a social person, love a laugh and enjoy catching up with friends, but I’m also the type who prefers meeting people out so I can make a sneaky exit whenever I want 😂 Nothing beats getting home, throwing on my trackies, putting Netflix on and doing absolutely nothing!

🐶 NOW, ABOUT THE REAL OWNERS OF THE HOUSE…

I have two dogs who are absolutely my world! They’re full of personality, love, affection and a little bit of cheekiness.

They’re not just dogs that happen to live here. They’re family, and whoever moves in needs to genuinely enjoy having them around.

❤️ WHAT I’M REALLY LOOKING FOR

I’m not interested in filling every spare bedroom or having people come and go. I’m looking for one person who’s the right fit for our home.

Ideally, I’d love to find someone who genuinely loves dogs and is happy to help look after my boys while I’m away at work.

That means someone who enjoys their company, is happy to feed them, give them attention and keep them in their normal routine while I’m on site.

And here’s the upside…

🏡 When I’m away at work, you practically have the whole house to yourself for 8 days at a time!

You get the freedom, privacy and comfort of having an entire home to enjoy, rather than feeling like you’re renting a bedroom in someone else’s house.

I’m not looking for someone to feel like a guest or hide away in their room. I want you to feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen, relaxing on the couch, watching TV and treating the place like your own home.

Of course, when I’m home, I enjoy my own space too. We don’t need to be joined at the hip, and there’s absolutely no expectation to socialise all the time.

✨ Someone who understands that a home should be a sanctuary, not just somewhere to sleep.

I’m offering more than just a room, and I’m hoping to find someone who sees it that way too.

Someone who’s respectful who thinks about others. I always try and go above and beyond to make someone’s life easier. I’m looking for a person who respects their space and treats a shared home with care and consideration.

Sarge is a 2 year old staffy lab, he loves sitting in the front window watching everyone walk by, he is an absolute socialite if he sees another dog he wants to say hello. Big red is a staffy kelpie who wants all the love and affection.
