🏡 HOUSEMATE WANTED – BERTRAM

I’m looking for a housemate to share my home in Bertram. I currently have a spare bedroom and bathroom available, and I’m ideally looking for someone who is clean, respectful and enjoys a peaceful, relaxed home.

The room comes furnished with a queen-sized bed and basic linen, as well as a built-in wardrobe. You’ll also have your own private bathroom, located directly next to the bedroom (it’s not an ensuite).

The room is at one end of the house, so you’ll essentially have your own private section of the home, making it a really cosy, peaceful and private space.

- Quiet, family-friendly street in Bertram, just outside Kwinana
- Beautiful park directly across the road
- Around 2 minutes’ drive to the freeway
- Bus stops nearby
- IGA, takeaway shops, BWS and other essentials within walking distance

🏠 The home

- Space in the garage for one small car
- Washing machine and dryer available in the laundry
- Wall-mounted reverse-cycle air-conditioning in both the lounge room and bedroom
- Shared kitchen and living areas
- Limited additional storage space outside of the bedroom

💰 Rent & Bills

- $250 per week
- Bills split 50/50
- Room includes queen bed, basic linen and built-in wardrobe

🐱 One important requirement

I work FIFO on an 8/6 roster, so when I’m away at work, my housemate will need to help with basic care for my cat, primarily feeding her (once per morning) and cleaning out her litter daily.

She’s very low-maintenance, affectionate and friendly, but also quite independent. This is a non-negotiable part of the arrangement, so please don’t apply if you’re unable or unwilling to take this on.

🏠 About the household

This is a quiet, cosy and drama-free home. I’m looking for someone who is clean, considerate and respectful of shared spaces.

It’s a drug-free household and not a party house. I’m not looking for someone who regularly has large groups of friends or family staying over or turns the house into a social hub. Occasional visitors are fine, but I’d like the home to remain peaceful and comfortable for both of us.

I’d prefer a non-smoker, although smoking outside is okay.

I’m happy to provide references from previous housemates/landlords and would prefer a prospective housemate who is also happy to provide references and/or a police check.
