I’m a queer ecologist/wildlife scientist who has recently purchased the property, and I’m looking for a likeminded person to be my housemate.
Me: mellow and considerate type, foodie, outdoorsy, arts and culture, gardening. My doggo Hal is shared custody so will be at home periodically (7 year old ridgeback x mastiff). He’s excitable and a little anxious but obscenely affectionate when comfortable.
Planning to set the house up to maximise bedroom privacy: 3 bedrooms (incl. master) upstairs, and one room downstairs, which I’ll likely set up as my bedroom. Separate toilets (up & down) but shared upstairs bathroom. One room upstairs will be an office.
I’ll be moving in at the start of May, and aim to rapidly renovate/update some elements of the interior and exterior, so mid-May housemate move in would likely be best.
I’m quite social, enjoy community and culture, but also equally introverted and enjoy quiet time. Down for housemate hangs and communal dinners but also bed rotting occasionally. I work away semi-frequently, and also sometimes work from home.
Looking for someone who’ll match the vibe. If you’re interested let’s meet up!
Cheers,
Josh
