Description of the home
Friendly, house-proud, cat-lover wanted!!
>The deal:
A room in this quaint 2 X 1 unit, part of small group of quiet, polite neighbours at the end of a cul-de-sac.
The bedroom is cozy but comfortable.
Bedroom furniture is available if required (single or king-size bed, built-in wardrobe, night stand, lamp, chest of drawers).
If you prefer the room empty so you can put your own furniture, that is also an option.
If on the other hand you need all the comfort, including the basics such as bedding and linen to get you started, I can also organise it.
The rest of the house is fully furnished and won't have room for more furniture but not inflexible - a nicer couch or bigger TV is welcome.
The use of the washing machine, dishwasher, air fryer and most other household appliances are included. The fridge isn't huge but it's suited two people before if curated carefully.
All bills included: electricity, water, wifi, Netflix. (To be reviewed if you have high consuming appliances or lifestyle).
The outdoor courtyard is perfect for a morning coffee or chilling with a book on cooler days.
Street parking (3P during the week and working hours, but they never check) or a neighbour may be willing to rent their carport, we'll need to ask if you have a car and are interested.
Close to everything!
2 minute walking distance to Angove street cafes and restaurants, 3-5 minutes walk to Coles, doctors, pharmacy, yoga/Pilates, post-office.
3 minutes to buses to the city on both Charles and Fitzgerald streets.
Adjacent a small oval/park.
750m from Beatty Park Leisure Centre (Gym,pool, sauna etc).
1km from Hyde Park.
1.5km to Leederville.
2km from Northbridge.
2.5 km from CBD/ City centre.

I moved back to perth from the eastern states a few months ago and am enjoying rediscovering the beauties this town has to offer. I work a lot and am very happy doing my own thing but I would be delighted to have company while discovering new cafes, bars and food joints if you're interested (lots of my friends have babies and have renounced that scene 😂)
I'm not a party animal but do enjoy the occasional dinner party (you're invited! 😜).
Love myself some quiet time but also happy to put some background music on and share a drink or cook a meal with the person I live with.
I love both early mornings and sleep-ins. Ordering in or cooking, eating out or a quick toast are all viable options.
I sometimes work late/overnight shifts and need to sleep during the day - you can still go about your business but maybe skip vacuuming that morning? 😂
I go away every few weeks which would mean you'd have the place to yourself (and the cats 🙂).
Non-smoker, no drugs and only social drinking; seeking likewise.
I am extremely house-proud: my home is my nest and my sanctuary and I keep it clean, tidy and organized and would appreciate a person who shares these values, picks up after themselves and and participates willingly (without prompts or rules) and keeps the entire house including their room neat and tidy.
I love interiors and would welcome someone to contribute in a harmonious way (neutral tones, native flowers, textures and nature-inspired) if they wished to or if it helps them feel more at home but there would be no pressure to.
Respect and consideration are key in good cohabitation and communication is a perfect starting point.
Jack: small black 2.5 years old "kitten". My adopted human and I had a love-at-first-sight moment after I emerged from a Bunnings bin and followed two other humans on the streets during the Melbourne winter and was handed into her work. I walked into her life and her heart and changed all the rules; now there are none and I rule the roost..she thinks I'm perfect. I am. My passions are coconut cream, playing catch-me-if-you-can and sitting on people's laps when they sit on the toilet. My phob..what phobias?!?!
