A furnished room is available in a relaxed, older-style townhouse in Subiaco, just 200m from the train station and close to shops, cafes, and the city.
Please note: the room is on the smaller side, so it is best suited to a single person. Couples may still be considered if comfortable with the space.
Youâll be sharing the home with me (42), my son (22), one small older dachshund, two cats, and an outdoor fish pond. Weâre a relaxed, easygoing household looking for someone respectful, friendly, and comfortable in a shared living environment.
This is a lived-in, casual home rather than a strict or formal setup, so weâre looking for someone who fits well with that kind of atmosphere.

This is a shared home, not just a room rental. Everyone helps keep common areas clean and comfortable. We keep things relaxed and flexible with a respectful shared approach.
The included pantry items are provided to make shared living easier and more affordable, and we just ask theyâre used reasonably.
We would prefer someone comfortable around animals, and possibly open to occasionally helping feed or keep an eye on pets when weâre away.

Must love animals â I live with [or love being around] pets, so a genuine affection for animals is a must.
Chilled vibes â I appreciate a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere at home. No drama, just good energy.
Social but independent â I enjoy the occasional shared meal or chat, but also value space and quiet time. Someone whoâs happy doing their own thing but also up for a bit of social time now and then would be ideal.
Snookums â My 14-year-old miniature dachshund. Sheâs a gentle soul who loves cuddles and will happily nap in your lap if you let her. Super friendly and low-maintenance, just loves being around people.
The Cats â I have two cats:
A fluffy grey one who looks like a little bear â soft, cuddly, and full of personality.
A classic tabby whoâs independent but affectionate on their own terms. They both mostly do their own thing but are sweet to be around.
The Pond Crew â About 10 goldfish live outside in the garden pond. Theyâre peaceful to watch and add a nice calming vibe to the outdoor space.
