Great place. Bedroom is upstairs with an ensuite ( the room looks smaller in the photos due to the king size bed but it is a medium sized room), there are steep terrace stairs split between the rooms and no shared walls apart from with the neighbours on one side who are very quiet. The room has a big window facing away from the street side. The street is quiet and we are off the main part of the flight path but tehre are planes in the afternoon. There is another bathroom downstairs combined with bath tub, shower and laundry. Large kitchen, dining room and very homely and warm living room. It really is a gem of a place and the yard is sunny and lovely, it has grown a lot since I took these photos. I have manicured the garden over the last 5 years and it's quite a sight! I work normal hours 9-5 M-F and would prefer someone busy also, the best situation is someone working nights as we get our run of the place when the other is at work, although I am not completely against whichever situation. Working from home is not ideal but not a deal breaker. The house is a quiet one, there is no TV, I listen to records in the living room which is under my room and not yours, if you don't like music and watch heaps of TV pls don't apply. That is a deal breaker.

Old style Annandale terrace, apparently it used to be a butchers shop many many years ago. It still has the polished concrete slab in the living room. Polished floor boards, big yard, two bathrooms, your room has an ensuite and built in wardrobe in one corner. The garden is a sanctuary, sun drenched with shade sails, native plants and a succulent garden, an eternal work in progress! Lovely in summer when outside in the evening. This place is amazing, wedged between the wonderful Nelson and Trafalger Streets of the Dale. Walking distance to Newtown / Enmore / Stanmore station is 10-15mins away on foot and 2 mins from buses at Parramatta road.

It’s a quiet place, I don’t watch or have a TV and I don’t drink much or smoke at/in the house.
I generally listen to music every night and watch a movie now and again. I do have a projector for this purpose.

I am after a room mate for good for a laugh, chat and a meal when we are both around now and again. I am often out and about with friends or family, running or on the bike, hiking / camping, and at the gym/yoga or the pool/beach. I have people over now and again for lunch or dinner. I love this place for the dining room as well as the garden where you can find me most Sundays.

I like active, happy, busy people, it's fine to have rough days, they can't all be that bad however. I like to be engaged in conversations, and discuss both our interests equally, food would definitely be seperate for the most part, cleaning jobs around the house are expected. Usually week on week off. This is a sanctuary, and it's nice to have a quiet, peaceful place to come home to.
I don't like the TV on all the time, but you can do what you want in your room as long as it doesn’t bother me or the neighbours.

There is a dog here now but moving on soon. Pets can be discussed as an option.
