Home Description

Description of the home

My housemate is moving in with her partner so there will be a room available in my 2 bed apartment in Bronte. The apartment is on the ground floor in a small block of four, and has direct access to a big backyard which I’m slowly sprucing up to be perfect for outdoor hangs. The kitchen is newly renovated, and there’s a large separate living room. The apartment is fully furnished (minus the available room) and has all the modcons - dishwasher, robot vacuum cleaner, smart TV, coffee machine etc etc.

The location is amazing - It’s a 10 minute walk to Bronte Beach and 15 minutes to Clovelly. The 379 and 360 bus stops are 250 metres away, and it's a 10 minute ride to Bondi Junction. There is also plenty of untimed street parking, so no permit needed!

About occupants
My name is Mia, I'm 33 and work in public health research. I lived in Melbourne for a few years but came back to Sydney post lockdowns to be closer to family. I love music, going to gigs, theatre and comedy, getting out in nature and traveling. I’m super social, but not a partier - more a dinner party or board games night kind of gal. My partner lives in the Blue Mountains so there will be a fair chunk of time every few weeks where you’ll get to have the apartment to yourself 😊
Compatible people
Happy to live with anyone who is kind and considerate - not fussy about age or gender. And ideally someone who is comfortable with and likes animals as I have a friendly rescue cat called Stella.
Description of pets
Stella is an 8 year old cat that I rescued when I lived in Canberra. She's incredibly friendly - she's pretty much a dog that you don't need to take out on walks.
