Room for rent in Coogee
Looking for a relaxed, friendly housemate to share my Coogee apartment — 4 blocks from the beach, and halfway between The Spot at Randwick (great restaurants and arty cinema) and Coogee Beach.
- 2 bed, 1 bath apartment, fully furnished throughout.
- Bedroom is a good-sized queen room with built-in robe and curtains.
- Shared bathroom with bathtub.
- 373 & 373x buses directly opposite. Walkable to light rail, Coogee shops and Royal Randwick shopping centre.
-10-15 minute walk to RPA hospital and UNSW Health Campus (great for students or health professionals)
- Sharing with me, mid 30s, working full time in marketing, I usually WFH 1 day, but not always. I love to socialise but respect that home is for relaxing. Would love a housemate who becomes a great friend. - I'm into trying new things, exploring, travel and the arts.
- I'm out at work or at the gym a lot of the time and tend to be quiet on weeknights.
- I also have an 12-year-old Russian Blue cat. She's sweet, shy and low-shedding — mostly just sleeps and loves a cuddle, easy to live with.
Perks: coffee machine, soda stream, fast wifi, internal laundry, I'm a good cook (but no pressure), quiet block of 8 apartments, and there's a herb garden you're welcome to help yourself to.
- Dog park, Diggers gym (with indoor pool and sauna) and tennis courts across the road.
$480 per week, bills not included. $530 per week inclusive of bills.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Has a deep curiosity for the world — whether that's through travel, the arts, or a well-timed tarot pull. The kind of housemate who'll remember your coffee order, have something interesting to talk about over dinner, and occasionally bake a cake.
Shares the apartment with Mona Lisa, an 12-year-old Russian Blue who is the definition of low-maintenance — mostly asleep, occasionally affectionate, zero drama.
Low-shedding, low-drama, high-vibe. She is not looking for a best friend, but she will absolutely judge you silently from across the room until she decides you're worthy — and when she does, consider yourself honoured. (She is a retired breeding queen so is actually quite skittish and just living her best retirement life)
The ideal housemate for Mona Lisa is someone who understands that the couch is a shared space, mornings are sacred, and that her approval, while not guaranteed, is absolutely worth earning.
