Description of the home

Hi! I’m Alex – a 45 year old female, full time professional (scientist). I’m looking for a housemate to share a lovely, spacious, light filled rental house in Drummoyne with my lovely housemate Paul (a business consultant), two cats and myself. It's a three bedroom house, and so I am looking to lease out the third bedroom as my other housemate is moving out. Paul and I are really chilled, at work 5 days a week and often away on weekends. We like home to be a relaxing space to come home to (so not a party house, apart from occasional things like friends over to hang out, dinner, BBQ or a movie etc). Ideally you will be full time employed too, and also looking for a peaceful place to call home.

Features of the home we would be sharing include:

- Spacious and sunny 3 bedroom house with one room available for rent. I am in one bedroom and Paul is in the other.
- Ducted heating/cooling
- Updated kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher
- Updated bathroom with a shower and bathtub, separate toilet, separate laundry
- Enclosed outdoor courtyard with outdoor furniture and a BBQ
- Storage space in the garage (or could be used for parking for an extra $25 per week)
- Tree lined street in a lovely community
- 3 minute walk to the bus stop (regular buses to Central, Pyrmont, Town Hall, Parramatta, Macquarie University and Chatswood)
- Walking distance to shops and restaurants (including Harris Farm, IGA, Chargrill Charlie’s, some great cafes)
- TV with chromecaster and Netflix
- power and internet bills to be shared (split 3 ways), gas and water are included in the rent
- couples may be considered, but the rent would be $450pw
