Home Description
Description of the home
The apartment is the entire top floor of a beautiful art deco block, with a spacious layout that means we each have our own space. Your room is on the opposite side of the apartment from mine, next to the shared bathroom, so it feels nice and private. The apartment is one of those rare gems in the area - far larger than most apartments and an unusual layout that makes it feel more like a house than an apartment.
The place has a separate living room, a study/craft space, and a huge newly renovated balcony that's perfect for morning coffee, sunset drinks or entertaining. It's fully furnished and well equipped, so you only need to bring your bedroom furniture.
The location is hard to beat—quiet but just moments from Macleay Street's cafés, shops and parks. Secure parking is available nearby for around $80/week.

I'm looking for someone who's friendly, considerate and easy to live with—keen for a chat or shared meal now and then, while also respecting each other's space. Because I work from home full-time, it would suit someone who isn't home five days a week (although regular WFH is absolutely fine).
You’ll need to have reliable work to pay the bills. I work from home FT and on calls etc, so better if you aren’t also WFH full time, but occasionally is fine. There’s space for a desk either in your room or in the shared study.
You’d be happy to be hosting friends at home - afternoon drinks, dinners, just hanging out. Occasional dog-sitting for friends would be nice to continue.
Prefer limited to no smoking.
Flatmate Preferences
- Outside okay
- Dogs okay
