I'm Dawn, and I love living in this street. It's very quiet for the location (no through traffic) and the shade of the big trees helps create a great atmosphere - I often sit out the front and on the porch to watch the sun go down, and sometimes end up chatting for a bit with a neighbour, a passing friend or a new person! It's very chill and nice. I’m currently working casually while also developing a children's writing and illustration project. I have family and friends nearby, so Erskineville really feels like home to me.
I like to keep my home warm, welcoming, and easygoing—a place where being considerate and respectful comes naturally, without being overly formal. I’m flexible about food arrangements, whether we share or do our own thing. I swim most days and enjoy staying active. The place is mostly furnished, but I’m happy to move or sell furniture if you’d prefer to bring your own.
Good-will and a bit of lightheartedness goes a long way. Curiosity and respect for others points of view. Kindness.
