Home Description

Description of the home

It’s a stylish warehouse conversion with polished concrete floors and a really open feel. The kitchen is large and well set up, and the space has a bit of personality with bespoke furniture throughout.

Shared large bathroom which is spacious and well organised.

The street itself is quaint and quiet, but you’re still close to everything you need.

Positioned near Erskineville village, the neighbourhood is incredibly friendly and charming. It’s a 5 minute walk to Erko Station and both St Peter’s and Newtown Station are also 10 minutes away. Street parking is pretty easy if you require that and everything is in walking distance!

About occupants
I’m a super friendly mid-40s guy, a creative professional working across a tech startup and major events, so my schedule’s a mix of working from home and being out on projects. Days are fairly full - usually start with a walk with my dog (more on her later), then into work, gym most days, and trying to cook when I can.

I live a pretty grounded, low-drama lifestyle - I don’t drink these days, keep things fairly healthy, and the house is generally calm and easy to be in.

I’m social but not over the top - I enjoy the occasional shared meal or movie, but I’m equally respectful of space and independence. I’m out of the house a fair bit and don’t really entertain at home, so it’s not a party environment.

Easygoing, very tidy, and bonus points for anyone with a really good sense of humour!
Compatible people
I’m open to both short- and longer-term stays (minimum three months). The room can be furnished or unfurnished, depending on what suits you. The house itself is fully set up, with a well-equipped kitchen, and a cleaner is included.

I’m really looking for someone who’s neat, considerate, and treats the space with respect. It’s very much an adult, calm household — not a party house.

The ideal fit is someone who has their own life going on - whether that’s work, travel, or a busy social life - and is looking for a comfortable, easy home base. I enjoy the occasional shared meal or chat, but overall it’s a pretty independent living setup.
Description of pets
Now to the best part…

You’d be living with me - and Fiona, my five-year-old French bulldog. She spends most of her life asleep, and when she’s not, she’s usually following me around like a little shadow.

She’s incredibly gentle and low maintenance, just very affectionate once she gets to know you. It would be great to have someone who enjoys having a dog around, and is happy to give her the occasional bit of attention or take her for a walk now and then.

Fair warning - she’s pretty adorable.
