ABOUT THE PLACE:
AVAIL DEC 15- UNFURNISHED ROOM
Please read first:
The unit in a first-level flat that is only 1 of 6 on the block and is a mix of rented/ owner-occupier. The unit common areas are well maintained and clean with very kind and respectful neighbors. Though the unit is street-facing, the street is quiet and gets little traffic.
Randwick shopping village is close by (5 min drive, 20 min walk) with Woolies, Coles, take away places, pharmacy and gyms etc. Buses and the light rail are a short walk away. UNSW and the Prince of Wales hospital are all in the vicinity. Additionally, Coogee beach is a few kilometers away.
The unit consists of a large open plan living area, and combined dining and kitchen with hardwood flooring throughout. Please note that there is no dishwasher.
The bathroom is on the smaller side but has a nice shower with good water pressure and a vanity with storage.
There are 2 bedrooms, yours opens to a leafy/street outlook with very generous built-in wardrobe and heaps of natural light. The property gets a great deal of morning light. The room size is 3.25 by 2.65, it would fit a queen bed comfortably.
I have my 7kg front loader washing machine in the kitchen that you are free to use, there is also a communal laundrette out the back of the property that has a coin-operated washing machine. There are two large clotheslines to hang laundry.
The apartment has a lock-up undercover car space that you are welcome to use as I don't have a car but it would only suit a small car. Additionally, there is ample street parking.
There is no heating or cooling at this property, but since living here I have found a fan/portable heater to be sufficient and keeping blinds down during hot and cooler days.
There is Belong wi-fi which is fast and reliable ( $36 a month). I have a smart TV that has Netflix, Stan, Prime, and Youtube if you would like to connect your accounts. The electricity bill comes quarterly and is NOT included in the rent and there is no gas or water to pay.
I also have a Breville coffee machine that you are welcome to use. The kitchen has all the standard appliances and glasses, bowls, silverware, etc too.
The house is fully furnished, except for your room!

I'm 32, I'm an actor- I also have a nursing background. I'm originally from Melbourne but I moved to Sydney 4 years ago.
I moved into this beautiful apartment in December 2021 and I'm looking for someone to fill the second bedroom.
I am very house-proud and I love to keep things well-furnished, clean, and organized. This place will suit someone with a similar outlook. I am a homebody so I enjoy being around the house a lot of the time. I typically work a few days a week on a casual basis.
I love keeping fit and getting to the gym and road cycling. I love that this place is located relatively close to Coogee beach so I walk down and go for a swim often. As I mentioned I'm an actor so I will be spending a lot of my time filming audition tapes, going to castings and classes.
I'm looking for someone who can be down to hang out, have a chat and help each other out, but also be able to retreat and do their own thing. I don't want us to always feel the need to be 'on'. Everyone is an individual with their own busy lives so I would love someone who understands that we can be on opposite sides of the house or even in the same room and it not be awkward/rude to sit in silence or be doing our own thing.
I would like to have a common area cleaning schedule that alternates as well as a general understanding that you take the bins out when they are full, use coasters on tables, and communal essentials like toilet paper are purchased by both of us.
I like to tailor my meals to suit my workouts I prefer to cook and shop for myself.
This is not a party house so no kick-ons and ideally , no smokers.
I would like the household to have warm, friendly, helpful, and respectful vibes. This is a place where you can unwind and be yourself.
I know that this ad is very detailed but I am really wanting to find the right fit! Living compatibility is so important to a harmonious house.
Length of stay is negotiable, but I would prefer someone who is looking for something more long term. This is a sub lease.
If this sounds good to you please send a message to me with:
