Hi, I’m Laura! iI am 42 years and originally from the UK, yet have lived here for 12 years.
I own the place and I’m looking for a flatmate to share it with. I’m based in Sydney and work full-time in operations for a healthcare company.
During the week I’m mostly out at the office. I work from home one day a week, but there isn’t really space for two people to WFH, so this would suit someone who’s also in the office most days. I am close to St George Private Hospital so could suit a Doctor or Nurse.
Outside work I’m usually at the gym or playing netball. I like a bit of DIY around the place and I’m slowly (very slowly) learning cryptic crosswords, so feel free to help. Weekends are pretty chilled, and I don’t drink much, so it’s a quiet, relaxed home rather than a party house.
I’m extremely tidy and keep the place spotless, so I’m looking for someone who’s the same. Respecting each other’s privacy and keeping shared spaces clean are really important to me. I’m easy-going and direct: if something’s bothering me I’ll say so in a friendly way, and I’d hope you’d do the same.
I’m always up for a morning beach walk and a coffee at the weekend, but equally happy to do our own thing without being in each other’s pockets.
