Hey everyone 👋 If you’re a Macquarie University student or work in/near Macquarie/Ryde, this place is for YOU! Even if you study/work elsewhere, the Metro & bus stops are a couple of mins away ✅
Your new home:
BRAND NEW, spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on a high level with breathtaking city views from every angle! 🤩
The apartment comes with everything you would need to feel comfortable, including a fridge, microwave, air fryer, rice cooker, laundry, utensils, cookware, 4-seater sofa, 65-inch TV, desk, chair and a monitor/screen that you’re more than welcome to use 😊
If you’d prefer to bring your own bed or any furnishings, that’s totally up to you. Otherwise, I’d be happy to provide a queen-size bed 🙌
You’ll also have access to an extra storage cage, so you could enjoy the space instead of having clutter everywhere 😄 The building itself is amazing, with great amenities including a pool, sauna, BBQ area, and a safe, central location.
Location:
Macquarie Centre is right across the street and has heaps of stores for your everyday needs, including Woolies, Coles, Aldi, chemists, bakeries, retail stores and medical clinics. We’re within walking distance from Macquarie Uni, less than a 5-minute walk from Macquarie University metro station — 2 stops away from Chatswood and a couple more to the city — and less than a minute away from the bus stop, so transport isn’t an issue at all!

I’m Yaz! I’m a friendly, easygoing and respectful Software Engineer working in the city Monday to Friday, so you’ll have the place to yourself pretty much during the day 😃
Outside of work, I usually work out in the evenings, wind down at home, or head out on weekends. I like keeping the home clean, calm and comfortable. I’m an introvert so I'm pretty chilled and down to earth. I'd be happy to have a chat, share the occasional meal or drink, but I also really respect people’s privacy and personal space.
I’m looking for a flatmate who is tidy, respectful and easy to get along with 😊 Whether we become friends and hang out here and there, or simply keep things relaxed and independent, I’m flexible either way.
My partner and I have shared apartments for around five years, so I’m very used to living with others and being considerate of shared spaces. She’s moving overseas for work, which is why I’m now looking for a flatmate.
Also worth noting, I’ll be away from the 7th of July, so you’ll have the place to yourself for a while without having to pay for the whole place on your own 🙌
