Home Description
Description of the home
Bright, spacious room available in Randwick!
The apartment
Fully furnished — all you need to bring is yourself, although bedroom furniture can be removed if needed.
The apartment is bright, cosy, and has a unique layout with two separate living areas, perfect for unwinding after work or spending time at home. My favourite spot is the smaller living area — a sunny little nook ideal for relaxing. It also doubles as a guest room with a pull-out sofa bed. (On the floor plan this is listed as room 3)
The room
The bedroom stays nicely shaded, which helps keep it cool during summer, and there’s a ceiling fan for hotter days. It also has a huge built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage, and it’s large enough to comfortably fit a desk or vanity..
Features
The apartment block itself is a bit of a hidden gem — quiet, well-maintained, and surrounded by lots of trees and plants. There’s also a pool, which is rarely busy, plus multiple clotheslines.
Public transport and local shops are all within walking distance, and there’s usually free street parking nearby for anyone with a car.
Transport
- 7 min walk to city buses: 373, 374, 339
- 15 min walk to Randwick shops and the L2 light rail to Circular Quay
- 5 min walk to Bondi Junction buses: 356, 390X
- Around 15 mins by bus or a 30 min walk to Coogee Beach

I’m friendly, social, and always up for a good chat — whether that’s over a glass of wine or while watching TV. I love sci-fi, fantasy, and general geek culture, and I’ve definitely got a creative streak too. You’ll usually find me crocheting in the evenings or randomly diving into a new hobby or project.
I work from home Monday to Friday in the little TV room, and it’s a pretty relaxed setup. If you feel like hanging out nearby, watching TV, or just enjoying the sunny space during the day, that’s totally fine.
I’m 420/smoker friendly, although I’m not personally a smoker myself.
As I work from home, I’m generally available for viewings Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm, and weekends with a bit more notice.
Ideal housemate is someone friendly, communicative, and genuinely interested in being part of a shared household rather than just living separately in their room. I’d love someone who’s happy to chat, occasionally hang out, communicate openly about household stuff, and help keep the place feeling comfortable and cared for.
Clean and tidy is important, but this isn’t a super strict or perfectionist household — more just people being considerate, respectful, and pulling their weight. LGBTQI-friendly and ideally someone with similar progressive/socially inclusive values.
