Home Description

Description of the home

Bright spacious room available in Randwick!

The apartment

Fully furnished so all you have to bring is yourself but bedroom furniture can be removed. It's bright and cosy and has a unique layout with two living areas perfect for unwinding, my favorite spot is the smaller living area – it’s a sunny nook ideal for relaxing, it also doubles as a guest bedroom with a pull out sofa bed.

The room

The bedrooms are shaded just right to avoid the heat, and on hotter days, the ceiling fans work wonders. There are huge built ins in each room too so plenty of storage.

Features

The apartment block itself is a gem – it’s well-maintained, quiet, and beautifully landscaped with trees and plants. There’s also a pool, which is rarely busy. Plus, there are lots of clotheslines.

Public transport and local shops are all within walking distance and there's always a free parking spot nearby for those with a car

7 minutes walk for buses to the city 373, 374, 339

15 mins to Randwick shopping centre and (L2) light rail train from Randwick to circular Quay

5 mins for buses to Bondi Junction 356, 390x or 30 min walk

About occupants
I’m a British-Latina woman in my early 40's and have called Australia home for the last 14 years.

I’m friendly, social, and always up for a good chat, whether that’s over a joint, a glass of wine, or while watching TV and movies. I love sci-fi/fantasy and general geek culture. I have a creative streak too — you’ll usually find me crocheting in the evenings or randomly diving into a new hobby or project.

I’m definitely looking for someone who wants an actual home rather than just a bedroom. Someone friendly, communicative, and happy to occasionally hang out, watch TV, share a meal/drink, or just comfortably coexist in the space together.

I work from home in the little TV room, and it’s a pretty laid-back setup, so if you feel like hanging out nearby, watching TV, or just soaking up the sun during the day, that’s totally fine.

420-friendly is a must, and ideally looking for someone 35+.

As I work from home, I’m generally available for viewings Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm, and weekends with a bit more notice.
Compatible people
Looking for someone friendly, communicative, and genuinely interested in being part of a shared household rather than just living separately in their room. I’d love someone who’s happy to chat, occasionally hang out, communicate openly about household stuff, and help keep the place feeling comfortable and cared for.

Clean and tidy is important, but this isn’t a super strict or perfectionist household — more just people being considerate, respectful, and pulling their weight. LGBTQI-friendly and ideally someone with similar progressive/socially inclusive values.
