Home Description
Description of the home
⭐️ Location- in the heart of Surry Hills our terrace sits on Bloomfield Street- a very quiet street close to Taylor Square between Bourke Street and Crown Street with many restaurants, cafes and bars at an easy walking distance.
⭐️ Transport- Bus stops are only a few minutes away and Central /Museum station are about a 10-15 minute walk. Woollies is only 1 minute away, and Aldi is a 5-minute walk. The French Bakery is just around the corner and Bourke Street bakery is a leafy ten-minute stroll. The location is fantastic!
⭐️ Parking - this location is better suited to a commuter that doesn't drive, as on-street parking is only 1- 2 hours and the current tenant holds the parking permit so unfortunately we are unable to offer great parking options :( sorry!
⭐️ Home - the terrace is old but cosy and has the charm of a typical Sydney share house. It has two toilets- one bathroom with a shower- and the other is an outhouse in the courtyard (pictured) which is a cute little fairy-lit courtyard filled with plants for chills and hangs.
⭐️ Dynamics - We are not a party house as we are all busy working and/or studying. We are open to all kinds of new housemates - full time workers, international students and travellers. Although long-term is preferred, we are willing to consider short-term if you are a good fit, and will prioritise someone who is clean and tidy, respectful and understands shared house dynamics. As we all have different schedules and backgrounds we do enjoy the occasional get together, welcoming new housemates or a farewell bbq- which happens occasionally with housemates returning home after finishing their visas or studies.
But we like to think of our place as a shared home :) with varying schedules, we value each others privacy and space, enjoy living together and contribute when necessary to cleaning and respecting the space for others :)
⭐️ Pets - Unfortunately we can't allow pets sorry and smoking is allowed but only outside ✌️
