Self-contained granny flat underneath our house. Large bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom with a deck overlooking Cochrane Lagoon at Copacabana. It is a super quiet space with bushland all around. We are a middle aged couple with adult children not living at home and have two Jack Russells so would suit someone who doesn't mind the occasional doggie visit and also earlier risers would suit the rhythm of the house. Would also suit surfers and people who enjoy the water and nature.

About occupants
We are a middle aged couple (adult children living away from home) with a Granny Flat below our house. My husband works from home as an accountant and I spend time in Sydney each week working at one of the big four banks. We tend to get up early and exercise and are in bed early so noise from above will be minimal. The flat is fully self-contained and furnished and we are looking for short-term lets as we prefer the flexibility of having the space back when we need it. We would prefer a non-smoker but there is area outside for smoking. Ideally, we would like a flatmate who likes dogs. Both of the hounds are friendly and easy to like.
Compatible people
Our surroundings suit someone who appreciates the quiet and being in nature (which means the occasional contact with all that nature has to offer). We also don't have public transport nearby so would need a car. As it is a self-contained apartment all we mind is that whoever lives there is quiet, honest and a good communicator - without a fear of dogs!
Description of pets
Mac - 4 years old - is a Tenterfield Terrier and super friendly. Bonnie is a 2 year old Jack Russell and prefers to stay close to us till she gets to know you but is sweet and very friendly.
