Home Description
Description of the home
As I say goodbye to my much loved housemate as she starts a new adventure in NSW, I’m looking for someone to join my cosy Coburg home.
THE HOUSE:
The house is filled with plants, dim lighting, art and trinkets ✨
It’s a bright and sunny home opposite a park with plenty of tree views out windows 🌿
Highlights
- Dishwasher
- Big garage with opportunity for hobbies
- Sun room
- Huge sunny backyard
- Lemon tree
- Undercover off street parking.
Short distance to plenty of bike paths, trams 11 & 58, Wollies, Coles and Coburg markets. 10 min walk to Sydney Rd and Moreland station.
While the house comes full of furniture, there is storage space in the garage and there’s room to move some furniture around to fit your things. All your plants are welcome. Dogs welcome pending meeting Frankie. No cats sorry.

I’m Mel, 34, and I grew up on Wurundjeri land. I work in the not-for-profit sector and work from home three days a week.
When I’m not tending to the indoor plants or figuring out the right moisture level for the worm farm, I might be eating cheese or talking nonsense.
I'm busy most weeknights with activities- I teach and practice yoga and have just started singing lessons!
As a housemate, I hope to show up in a way that creates a warm, welcoming home with open communication and a playful, creative vibe. I love getting to know the people I live with and having good chats. I also value (and need) downtime to recharge.
I'm queer-friendly, neurodivergent-friendly, and it’s important to me that everyone feels respected, safe, and comfortable being themselves.
Most weekdays, I’m up early.. In the evenings, I’m a bit of a nanna—early to bed and looking for someone who shares my nanna desires for a quite home after 10.30 pm.
