Description of the home

One room up for grabs in our amazing house! The inside is modern, clean, spacious, and light. There's ducted heating and AC throughout all the shared spaces, other than the basement which stays at a comfortable temperature all year, and it has a magic secret vacuum cleaner built into the walls.

On the ground floor there's a separate front living room with floor to ceiling windows and patio door that opens to the front garden, this is currently being half used as a WFH space. At the back is a huge open plan kitchen / living room / dining area, with loads of light and storage, and there's some decking and astro turf out the back.

The bedroom is downstairs next to the front door, and measures 3.4 x 3.5m. It has ducted heating but no AC, and would be the only housemate mainly using the downstairs guest bathroom. In total there's three bathrooms in the house (one is an en-suite).

There's a secured underground space with plenty of storage room and space for bikes, and on-street parking nearby. We have two spaces in the underground car park that we rotate between the 4 of us. Connecting to that is the massive basement games/cinema room.

The house itself is a 30 second walk off Glen Huntly road, and is pretty much as close as it is possible to live to a massive Coles without living inside it. There's heaps of nice cafes, restaurants, op shops, gyms, etc etc all within 10 mins walking distance, as well as tram and train links.

Bills and expenses

Elecrticity / gas / internet all split equally. We have a cleaner who comes every 4 weeks.
