Description of the home
Two rooms up for grabs in our amazing house! The inside is modern, clean, spacious, and light. There's ducted heating and AC throughout, other than the basement which stays at a comfortable temperature all year, and it has a magic secret vacuum cleaner built into the walls.
On the ground floor there's a separate front living room with floor to ceiling windows and patio door that opens to the front garden, as well as the ground floor bedroom and bathroom with shower, and the separate laundry room. At the back of the house is the huge open plan kitchen / living room / dining area, with loads of light and storage, and there's some decking and astro turf out the back.
Upstairs is the other spare bedroom, and a shared bathroom with shower. The master bedroom has an en-suite, so there's three showers and three toilets total in the house.
There's a big secured underground space with plenty of storage room and space for bikes, and on-street parking nearby. Connecting to that is the massive basement games/cinema room, which perfectly fits the home cinema setup with plenty of room for a pool table or whatever else we might decide to put there to replace the pool table.
The house itself is a 30 second walk off Glen Huntly road, and is pretty much as close as it is possible to live to a massive Coles without living inside it. There's heaps of nice cafes, restaurants, op shops, gyms, etc etc all within 10 mins walking distance, as well as tram and train links.
The house comes unfurnished, and we'll need to source some white goods and furniture. I'm happy to get some of these myself and divide and conquer, but bonus if you're bringing anything like that with you.

Elecrticity / gas / internet all split equally. Would be interested in lining up a cleaner which we would also split equally.

I left England in 2016 and have spent most of my time since then in Melbourne working as a doctor. Outside of work I love getting out for some live music. I like sharing new music finds, having friends over for dinner and board games, or the odd D&D session. I try and indulge in a bit of creativity via photography, cooking, or haphazard attempts at art every now and then. I'm pretty clean and tidy, happily clean up not just my own mess, and make a point out of keeping the recycling and compost bins on track.

I like the home to feel like a place of respite and relaxation after a long day! But definitely wanting a nice balance of social time and self hermit-ing. I have Cleo, my lazy tuxedo cat, who is super social and curious, so housemates that welcome pets would be ideal (^_^)
I love cooking and will often have wine with my meal. Music is a big part of my day to day and will often have some soft jazz or a type of lofi playing in the background if im home alone whilst working or doodling or doing yoga.
On a nice sunny day you'll find me out and about and if not, i'll most likely be binging a show or doodling or making crepes!
