Home Description

Description of the home

***We have an outdoor toilet (if you can handle this please read on 😊)

*Potentially 2 rooms available.

Quirky double story, long terrace in the heart of Fitzroy. The house is showing it’s years but with regular cleaning and great landlords, it’s pretty organised and functional. As you can see in the photos, there are some storage rooms and the bathroom and laundry are in between. The living room and courtyard are currently a work in progress. The courtyard is great in Spring and Summer if you like a sunny spot to eat/drink etc.

I try to have a few pots of herbs and salad greens happening. The house is a two minute walk to Nicholson st trams and Carlton Gardens, Melbourne Museum and only a few minutes to Brunswick st, 15 min walk to the City and close to everything great about Fitzroy.

The garden is a small mix of garden and house space, clothesline etc. The house has a great mixture of indoor and outdoor spaces that makes the space work fairly well for everyone.

The house is spacious and I’m essentially looking for respectful, mature people to share a home with. If you're looking for an inclusive space, LGBTQI/420 friendly house please get in touch 🙂

About occupants
Hey, I’m Joseph. I’ve lived in the house for 4 years and after selling, the new landlords have offered a 12 month lease.

I work in Finanicial Technology and Security and whilst I work from home some days, I prefer to go to our office space in Carlton. When I’m home I generally cook, do a bit of gardening and take as many naps as possible.

Happy to have a chat or drink if the occasion arises and will sometimes try to keep a small garden going. I’m fairly direct, happiest in a clean and tidy environment with respectful, mature minded people.
Compatible people
Looking for someone with a mature outlook, share house trained and fairly laid back. Ideally suited to someone who works full time or part time study/work. I enjoy my personal space but also happy to socialise with others in the house. A sense of humour, tidy/share house trained and considerate of others are some of the qualities I’m looking for.
