Home Description

Description of the home

The house is gorgeous, spacious, and a bit of a Fitzroy North dream. We’ve got front and back yards, an array of fruit trees (Bonus points if you’ve got a green thumb), lovely living areas with enough space to both hang out together and do your own thing. Josh has lived here for four years, and Jeremy moved in two years ago.

The kitchen is gorgeous, and pretty well stocked, but we do have a shed so we can figure out & store any double-ups. More appliances are also welcome.

While the rest of the house is well furnished, we can always make room for more. New sound system, a dining table and some floor rugs are high on our priority list as they're leaving with the outgoing housemate.

We're also smack bang between Brunswick and Nicholson st, just above Alexandra Parade, so great access to both #11 & #96 trams

About occupants
Our housemate is moving out to be with their boyfriend, so we’re looking for someone new to join the house.

Josh and Jeremy are two queer late/ish 30s professional 9-5ers. Jeremy works in genetics, and Josh works in startups, and we’re a mix of wfh and in-office. The house has a study that's a flexible-use space

Weeknights, we're either home on the couch, at the gym, at a work event, or out and about. Weekends for us are a mix of seeing friends, music gigs/festivals, or general pottering around the house. Josh sometimes DJs, and Jeremy plays the piano - but we're always mindful of noise and who's around.

We like a party - you'll often find us on a Confide or Kiki Bouba dancefloor, but we're not so much a party house. It’s a pretty calm and chill home; houseguests are always welcome. We’re looking for someone who can match our energy: sociable, considerate, communicative, and easy to live with.

We’re looking to fill the room by the end of the month. If it sounds like your kind of place, send us a message with a bit about yourself ✨

Description of pets
Scout is a 12-year-old rescue cat. She operates on her own terms but is a very lazy presence in the house. She is a solo animal though, so we're not looking for any more furry friends, unfortunately.
