Description of the home
Looking for a fellow queer who’s friendly and reliable to share my spacious two-bedroom townhouse in Northcote. You’d be moving into the unfurnished second bedroom, complete with tall ceilings and a skylight with access to a shared bathroom (with 2nd bathroom / powder room available too), separate laundry and garage (for some storage). I live here with my independent and friendly French Bulldog (part-time, week-on week-off). This is ideal for someone who wants a warm, respectful, and peaceful home environment.
Excellent location, just off High Street with cafes, bars and restaurants, Coles and Aldi, (Northcote Plaza), Northcote pool, public transport (Northcote Station, 86 + 11 trams), bike trails, Merri Creek and parks (CERES and All Nations) all nearby.

I can be an early riser and love making the most of the mornings. You’ll often find me walking around the neighbourhood or soaking up the sun, and when I can, I enjoy heading to the pool or beach. I’m also never opposed to a spontaneous trip to Luther’s ice cream! I’m community-focused and have a couple of side hustles alongside my 9-5. I like building things that help people.
At home, I’m tidy and considerate without being overbearing. Socially, I’m warm and interested. I’m the kind of person who’ll offer to make you a cup of tea and makes time to get to know you. I don’t expect nightly shared dinners, but I’d enjoy the occasional meal or couch time together. My guilty pleasure is watching reruns of TV shows from the 90s or 00s, so bonus points if you appreciate a bit of nostalgia.
I really respect personal space and independence, and I’m looking for the same in return. Ideally, a like-minded queer flatmate who’s reliable, emotionally mature, and communicates openly.
