The home is the last townhouse (4 of 4) at the back of a quiet block, on Heidelberg Road, Northcote.

Close by; a 3-minute walk to Fairfield Boathouse and Yarra Bend Park. We are surrounded by bike paths and a 10-minute walk to Dennis Station and a 3-minute walk to buses 250, 251, and 546 (got to the city and Carlton). Car parking is a shared situation, that we would need to sort out together.

There are two floors, with three bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs has an open-plan layout with plenty of space to relax and separate lounge and dining areas. We have a generous two-car garage (currently utilised as storage, with space in the middle for pop up projects), a sunny backyard, and two toilets (one up and one down stairs). The upstairs bathroom includes a shower and bathtub. In the courtyard there is an emerging veggie patch.

Please note: we have a fridge, washing machine and are on the look out for a microwave, kettle, toaster etc.

The house has a quiet vibe, it isnโ€™t a party house, although friends and visitors are welcome. It is a place for people who take pride in their space and clean up after themselves. We have a cleaning program where each house mate does a certain space, open to working together to decide what happens going forth.

Work from home: we generally prefer the home to be a home, though are open to 1 or 2 days a week work from home. To help respect the home feeling we would need to agree together on what everyone's needs are, to make it work.

We have good relationships with our neighbours and know them on a first name basis and enjoy contributing to community building. Yes, we have done โ€˜welcome giftsโ€™ to new neighbours and had dinner parties with others. It is all invitational.

We prioritise having a respectful sound environment and usually are in bed by 10pm on work weekdays, to help us all be ready for our jobs the next day. If you are a night owl - this wonโ€™t be for you! On the sound side we respect the sonic environment and generally ask people to use headphones rather than loudspeakers.

About occupants
Hi, Iโ€™m George, a 42 year old (they/them) psychotherapist. I am a morning person and a meditator. When Iโ€™m not working, youโ€™ll find me relaxing or embracing the outdoors. I love nature: camping, going for runs and walks, chilling by a fire, swimming in rivers, or making/ drinking chai and simply getting lost in a good book.

I value open communication. I'm up for a friendly chat and getting to know each other and aim for a positive and respectful living environment. I also appreciate a good balance between social time and personal space for recharging.

And I'm Max, a 39 year old (he/him) Counsellor and facilitator with a background in Arts, Meditation and nerding. I like working with others to make beautiful environments for creativity to happen. I volunteer at a local Op Shop and go to choir. Wholesome era is going strong.
