Description of the home

Looking for a flatmate to share a relaxed, comfortable 3-bedroom townhouse in a quiet Tweed Heads spot, super convenient to Coolangatta, the southern Gold Coast and everything around town.

This is more of an established home rather than a typical share house. It’s clean, calm, easygoing and suits someone who likes having their own space without feeling like they’re living in a boarding house.

You’ll also be sharing the place with two female French Bulldogs, who are very cute, mildly chaotic and firmly believe every human in the house exists partly for their benefit. No formal dog-nanny qualifications required, but willingness to receive unsolicited cuddles, dramatic staring and occasional supervisory duties is highly regarded.

I’m completely happy for us to do our own thing. There’s no expectation to socialise, cook together or become best friends. If you want to come home, shut your door and decompress, absolutely fine. Equally, a chat in the kitchen is always welcome.

Rent is $350 per week, plus $50 per month if you’d like to use the household internet. The room is furnished with a queen bed, mattress and chest of drawers. You would need to have your own linen.

The home is strictly non-smoking and alcohol-free, so it’s best suited to someone who genuinely enjoys a quieter lifestyle rather than someone just willing to tolerate one.

I’m looking for one person who is clean, respectful, reliable and easy to live with. Definitely not a party house, more somewhere you can come home, switch off, feel comfortable and enjoy your own space.

Bonus points if you like Frenchies. They will almost certainly conduct their own interview.
