Home Description
Description of the home
Our large 3 bedroom apartment is set in the heart of the Elizabeth Bay village in the iconic Kelburn Hall flatiron building. The house is actually the former Elizabeth Bay Post Office, meaning it features some cool art deco finishing (retro subway tiles in the foyer and a cool flatiron-shaped lounge room), with hardwood floors throughout, large rooms and the whole place is light, airy with high ceilings and is filled with natural light.
The kitchen and bathroom are large and have good fit-outs and the lounge room is enormous with comfortable couches and great natural light - perfect for reading a book, enjoying a glass of wine or having a nap on one of the huge couches.
We're surrounded by local cafes, but also a short walk from the bars and restaurants of King's Cross and Macleay St in one direction and Rushcutters and Beare Park in the other (for the best dog watching in Sydney).

Max is 27 and works for a law-firm in the city. He's a chilled, laid-back persona (despite being a lawyer ;) and is quite handy with things around the house.
We are both fairly laid back and sociable, but don't get in each other's pockets too much.
