Right at the front of a beautiful Edwardian freestanding home. We have a double glazed window that lets in a beautiful breeze. Room is 4.0 x 3.6m, we as maximalists, have 2 bookshelves, a WFH setup, a queen bed, 2 wardrobes and a craft bench and still have room to dance! Floorboards, high embellished ceilings, a gorgeous (not working) fireplace, this place has loads of character and we have loved being here.

The house: In a dreamy location just off Stanmore road, we're about a 15 minute walk to Stanmore or Newtown trains, and barely 5 minutes walk to all the buses on Enmore Road. The duke and all your local haunts are a 10 minute jaunt away, with Marrickville metro a 15 minute walk down the hill. No carparks, but the street parking doesn’t require a permit (yet)

About occupants
You’ll be living with Kieryn (a 9-5er designer who works from home some days) and her CUTE dog Maddie. The other single room belongs to Anthea, who has only just moved in and is an all round skater sweetie. We’ve been a pretty ‘sharing is caring’ household, both girls are fun, like the occasional party and good chat, but can also respect recharge time. Very LGBTQ friendly.
Compatible people
We're looking for a couple (or friends, or cashed up single!) to take the best room in the house. The housemates are super LGBTQ+ friendly, and very social. This house would be best suited to people who love the Newtown atmosphere, aren't afraid of a good chat (but we all respect privacy) and might like to have a party or two in the backyard come Summer. If you're new to Sydney, we'll make you feel welcome. Bonus points if you're creative music/graphics/arts types!
