Sorting homes by rent including bills
Some homes include bills in the rent, but most don't, so when you sort your list of matched homes by "Rent" we do a background adjustment for bills so homes with similar rents, assuming they all excluded bills, appear together.
Worked example
If a home seeker sorts their list of matched homes by "Rent: low to high", they might see homes appear in the following order: $300 pw, $340 pw (incl bills), $330 pw. The reason why $340 pw appears before $330 pw, even though the rent is higher, is because $340 pw includes bills.
This adjustment isn't perfect, but it's our attempt to ensure that home seekers don't miss homes that are within their rent budget, and that homes with similar rents aren't overlooked.
