Home Description
Description of the home
The apartment is located at the Balgowlah end of Fairlight, just moments from the famous Fairlight Walk. We have a great local cafe a short stroll away, Balgowlah Village and supermarkets are less than 10 minutes on foot, and buses to Manly and the CBD are within a 5-minute walk.
Manly itself is a 15-20 min walk along one of the most beautiful coastal paths on the Northern Beaches, with beaches, bars, restaurants, cafes and the ferry to the city all at your fingertips.
The apartment is a spacious two-bedroom home with a large open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, and a gorgeous balcony with some of the most breathtaking harbour and ocean views on the Northern Beaches.
It’s a happy home with a warm, relaxed feel. The kind of place where you can sit on the balcony with a coffee (or a wine) and stare at the view for far longer than is reasonable.
The apartment also has a separate laundry, bathroom with bath, additional storage, visitor parking and a garage that’s perfect for storing bikes, camping gear and water sports equipment.
With a heavy heart, my wonderful housemate is moving out to live with her partner, so I’m looking for a like-minded housemate who is looking for a home, not just a room to rent.
Trust me, it’s a pretty magical place to live. 💛

I'm originally from the UK, and moved to Australia 7 years ago in search of sunshine and adventure. Safe to say Sydney and the Northern Beaches stole my heart, and I love making the most of everything this part of the world has to offer.
I like to keep fit and active and am generally happiest when I've got something on the go. You'll usually find me at yoga, Pilates or boxing, out for a beach walk, swimming, catching up with friends, or planning my next little adventure.
I'm a pretty positive, glass-half-full kind of person. I love good people, good conversations, and building a life that's full of experiences, connection and fun.
Career-wise, I spent 18 years working in Digital Advertising before taking a leap of faith and changing careers into hospitality and commercial venue fit-outs. I'm now making the move into luxury residential property development.
I have a wonderful group of friends who have become my Aussie family. I love being social, hosting dinners and entertaining, and I'm equally happy with a cosy night on the sofa, takeaway, a glass of wine and a TV series we're both far too invested in!
Home is really important to me. I love creating a warm, welcoming environment where people feel relaxed and at home.
I'm generally an early-to-bed, early-to-rise kind of person (although not always successfully 😆), and I'm often out and about, travelling, visiting friends or back in the UK seeing family, so there are plenty of opportunities to have the place to yourself from time to time.
Most importantly, I'm looking for a kind, considerate, easy-going housemate who's positive, respectful and looking for a lovely place to call home.
And it goes without saying, keeping the house clean and tidy in communal areas is a non-negotiable for me.
If that sounds like your kind of vibe, I'd love to hear from you.
Not looking to live with a couple, as it tends to offset the balance in a two-bedroom apartment.
