I enjoy going out and being social and keeping fit by using the gym and going on walks within the area.
I work three mornings a week at Five Guys in the city and when I’m not working I volunteer at a community garden.
I have a mild disability and for this I receive support throughout the week from various support workers. This support is provided both within the house and out in the community. They assist me to prepare food, perform life administration tasks and to get out and about.
I'm looking for a supportive housemate who is kind, honest and mature minded.
It would be great if my supportive housemate is around the same age and would help me enhance my social skills and to share a meal together throughout the week. It would also be great if we could do some activities together outside the home and within the local area from time to time. You’re a non-smoker and will understand this is not a party house. You value clear communication and understand the necessity of clear speech when talking with Myself. You are ethically aligned and understand the right for people with disabilities to have choice and control in their lives and live independently.
In exchange for this arrangement my housemate can be given some financial remuneration and reduced rent. The supportive housemate must be prepared to undergo a National Police Check and complete the NDIS onboarding module.
If you are a kind, compassionate and caring person and this sounds of interest to you, please make contact with my Lifestyle Coordinator, Emily.
